To fund changemakers, empower sustainability, and center people by transforming donated goods into meaningful impact for the communities we serve.
Our Story
Bridge Thrift was created to reimagine what thrifting can be. We believe secondhand shopping can generate the resources required for meaningful impact. Our profits, through our Changemaker Grant program, are distributed to improve community wellbeing.
Our Goals
Bridge Thrift was created to reimagine what a thrift store can be. We believe secondhand shopping should feel accessible, intentional, and community-centered – not transactional.
Value People
Uplifting our communities starts with creating jobs that put people first. We prioritize developing leaders, competitive wages, and career advancement opportunities. We believe that employees who are cared for, within the neighborhoods they belong to, will have long-lasting, meaningful, and uplifting social and economic impact.
Empowering Sustainability
We believe sustainability starts with taking responsibility for what already exists. By giving donated items an opportunity for a second life, reducing waste through recycling and upcycling, and helping to educate our communities on reuse practices, we build environments that make sustainability practical and lasting.
Create Positive Atmospheres
We’re committed to creating vibrant, welcoming, and helpful spaces where customers and donors feel respected and valued every time they walk through our doors. These environments strengthen our communities by fostering connection, warmth, and shared purpose.
Financially Support Changemakers
Our intention is not just to operate responsibly, but to build a business successful enough to reinvest meaningful resources into our communities. Through financial support and in-kind partnerships, we help individuals and organizations who are working to strengthen and uplift their communities accomplish their goals. Our profits are used to fund our Changemaker Grants, which distribute funds directly to community upliftment efforts on a bi-annual basis.
